17 months ago, former pro tennis player and international coach with 16 years’ experience in the USA, traded her rackets in for padel.
Jackie is currently the number 1 rated women’s player in South Africa and the only woman to have reached a rating of 5.0. As competitive as she is on the court, a big passion of Jackie’s is to teach others to enjoy this rapidly growing sport as much as she does.
Jackie is a course tutor for the internationally recognised Spanish company Padelmba and has received hands on training from some of the top coaches in Spain.
We are thrilled to host Jackie at Aura Padel Club in the upcoming weeks who will be offering her coaching expertise with 90-minute weekly clinics for those interested in improving their game.

The Starter Course is designed for players with little padel experience. This course will equip you with the proper technique and positioning to get you going on the right foot. Proper grips, technique of each shot, on-court movement and positioning with your partner, glass work, net play, and basic strategy will all be included in this course.
It is highly recommended to start with this course if you have played for less than 6 months or have not received any prior coaching.
The Advanced Starter Course is designed for players who have some playing and coaching experience but lack the full range of padel specific shots and aren't yet confident with their positioning and transition game.
Specialty shots like the vibora, chiquita and bajada will be introduced, and players will develop a better understanding of where they should move according to the shot played.
This course will improve defence (glass work), as well as the attacking game (net play) and assist students in making low risk decisions ultimately reducing their error count.
